Anne Springs Close Greenway

Leroy Springs & Company’s Anne Springs Close Greenway is 2300 acres of pristine land filled with spacious forests, rambling terrain, shimmering lakes and rolling pastures. This beautiful, pastoral environment contains 28-acre Lake Haigler and four other fishing ponds, hiking trails and open spaces for horseback riding, mountain biking, jogging, picnicking and guided nature tours, two “swinging” suspension bridges and two historic cabins.

The trail system is 32 miles long and growing. Trail maps are posted at all entrances to the Greenway. The colors shown on these maps correspond to blazers or diamond shaped signs posted on the trails. Yellow is used for horseback riding trails. Green is used for bicycling trails. Red designates trails that are set aside for hiking only. Hikers may use ALL trails.

Rental facilities for both formal and informal events and recreational and educational activities give participants a deeper appreciation for the area. Primitive campsites are available by reservation and a nature center is open to all visitors. A variety of event facilities and locations within the Anne Springs Close Greenway are perfect for group outings.

Greenway gates are opened at 7:00 a.m. and close at sunset seven days a week. Dogs are allowed on the Greenway, but must be kept on a leash at all times. No motorized equipment of any kind is allowed on any trails. Check the trail maps for more trail rules.
